Developing an industrial epoxy product range can require significant investment in formulations, raw materials, manufacturing equipment, packaging, testing and quality control.
For mining suppliers, industrial distributors, maintenance companies and established brands, private-label manufacturing offers another option: supplying proven epoxy systems under your own branding without establishing an in-house manufacturing facility.
Pascoe Industries manufactures custom-branded and private-label epoxy kits from our facility in Perth, Western Australia. Our service can accommodate everything from a small trial order through to ongoing pallet quantities for larger customers.
What Is Private-Label Epoxy Manufacturing?
Private-label epoxy manufacturing allows a business to sell an epoxy product under it’s own company name and branding while the product is manufactured and packed by an experienced third-party manufacturer.
The customer controls how the product is presented to the market, including it’s:
- Product name
- Company logo
- Label colours and design
- Product instructions
- Safety information
- Outer carton labels
- Product codes and brand presentation
Private labelling can help an established supplier expand it’s product range, strengthen customer recognition and provide a more complete offering without taking on the cost and complexity of manufacturing internally. Similar private-label programs are commonly positioned as a way to shorten the time required to introduce a product range while reducing manufacturing overhead and development costs.
Private-Label Epoxy Systems Available:
Pascoe Industries offers private labelling across selected products within our Shutdown epoxy range. Our primary private-label systems include:
Shutdown 105: A two-component epoxy system developed for industrial repair, rebuilding and wear-protection applications.
Shutdown 605: A heavy-duty epoxy compound suited to a range of mining, maintenance and equipment refurbishment applications.
Shutdown 2484: A ceramic-filled epoxy wear compound used to rebuild and protect equipment exposed to abrasion, erosion and ongoing material flow.
Shutdown 2608: A high-performance ceramic-filled wear compound designed for severe industrial wear environments.
The most appropriate product will depend on the intended application, application method, required working characteristics and operating conditions. Our team can assist customers in selecting a suitable system before progressing with samples, labels or commercial production.
Custom-Branded Epoxy Packaging:
Private labelling involves more than placing a logo on an existing container. Our team at Pascoe Industries can assist with creating a complete branded presentation across the epoxy kit, including:
- Custom product names
- Customer logos
- Brand colours
- Part A and Part B labels
- Mixing and application instructions
- Safety wording
- Batch information
- Kit identification
- Branded outer-carton labels
- Customer-specific product codes
We offer in-house label design and printing, allowing labels to be produced as required. Customers may provide completed artwork where they already have an established packaging format. Alternatively, our team can assist with label layout, product wording and the development of a design that aligns with the customer’s existing brand.
Standard and Custom Epoxy Kit Sizes:
Our most common epoxy sizes are: 1 kg, 3 kg, 7 kg and 10 kg kits. Custom kit sizes may also be considered where a customer has a specific application or job requirement. The available size will depend on the selected epoxy system, packaging requirements and practical manufacturing considerations. Non-standard configurations are assessed individually to ensure the correct mix ratio, pack arrangement and usability are maintained.
Complete Kits Ready for Distribution or Site Use:
Private-label epoxy products are supplied as complete, pre-measured kits. Our epoxy systems are packed into white pails and supplied in outer cartons. Depending on the customer’s requirements, kits can also include application accessories such as: Disposable Gloves, Scrapers, Spatulas, Mixing boards and Other agreed application items.
Including these accessories can provide customers with a more complete, job-ready product and reduce the need for end users to source separate consumables.
Standard white packaging is used across our range. Alternative container styles or colours may be possible, although these generally require separate quotation, minimum quantities and longer procurement lead times.
Low Minimum Orders for Private-Label Trials:
One of the barriers to launching a private-label industrial product is often the minimum production quantity. Pascoe Industries offers private-label orders from as little as one box containing two kits, regardless of the selected eligible epoxy system.
This allows our customers to:
- Evaluate a product before committing to larger volumes
- Trial the product with selected end users
- Produce samples for sales representatives
- Test demand under their own brand
- Introduce a new line without carrying excessive stock
- Assess packaging and label presentation
While small trial orders are welcome, our service is primarily structured to support repeat carton, bulk and pallet quantities as demand grows. Our ideal private-label partnerships are ongoing supply arrangements where epoxy products become part of the customer’s established range.
Pascoe Industries can support:
- Small introductory orders
- Repeat carton quantities
- Planned shutdown supply
- Pallet orders
- Recurring production schedules
- National distribution requirements
- Customer-specific packing arrangements
Because labels are printed in-house as required, customers are not generally required to purchase large quantities of pre-printed labels or carry unnecessary packaging inventory. Each order is batch manufactured, packed and labelled according to the agreed requirements.
Typical Production Lead Times:
Private-label orders generally have a production lead time of approximately 1 to 10 business days, depending on; order quantity, product selected, current manufacturing schedule, label approval, kit configuration, accessory requirements and packaging availability.
Small repeat orders using approved artwork may be completed quickly, while first-time orders, custom configurations and pallet quantities may require additional planning. Where products are needed for a scheduled shutdown or major project, early forecasting helps us allocate raw materials and production capacity more effectively.
Formulation Customisation:
Most private-label customers select from our established Shutdown epoxy systems. For larger-volume customers, formulation development or modification may be considered where there is a genuine commercial requirement. Custom formulation is not offered for small or medium-volume orders because product development will involve a number of processes including (but not limited to); laboratory trials, raw material assessment, application testing, cure evaluation, performance testing, packaging compatibility, technical documentation and production validation.
These processes require considerable time and investment. Where a customer has sufficient projected volume and a clearly defined performance requirement, Pascoe Industries can assess whether a custom formulation project is commercially practical.
Who Can Benefit From Private-Label Epoxy Kits?
Our private-label epoxy manufacturing service may suit:
- Mining supply companies
- Industrial distributors
- Maintenance contractors
- Engineering and fabrication businesses
- Rubber-lining companies
- Wear-protection specialists
- Original equipment manufacturers
- National industrial brands
- Businesses tendering for mining and maintenance contracts
- Suppliers looking to add epoxy wear products to an existing range
Private labelling can be particularly valuable for companies that already have strong customer relationships but do not currently manufacture their own epoxy systems.
Benefits of Building Your Own Branded Epoxy Range:
Expand Without Establishing a Factory – Private labelling removes the need to invest immediately in specialised mixing equipment, filling systems, raw material storage and production staff.
Strengthen Your Brand – Supplying products under your own name keeps your brand visible throughout the customer relationship rather than directing the customer toward another manufacturer.
Offer a More Complete Product Range – An epoxy range can complement existing products such as ceramic liners, rubber lining, mining consumables, fabrication services and maintenance products.
Reduce Dependence on Imported Products – Australian manufacturing can provide shorter supply chains, more responsive communication and reduced reliance on overseas production schedules.
Start Small and Scale Gradually – Our low minimum quantity allows businesses to trial demand before progressing to larger orders.
Access Technical and Manufacturing Experience – Pascoe Industries has manufactured and supplied epoxy and polyurethane systems since 1988. Customers benefit from established production knowledge, batch consistency and practical technical support.
Improve Tender and Contract Capability – A customer-branded epoxy range may allow suppliers to present a broader, more cohesive package when tendering for mining, industrial and maintenance work.
Pascoe Industries is a family-owned Australian manufacturer based in Perth, Western Australia. Our private-label epoxy products are manufactured for demanding mining and industrial environments, with a focus on:
- Product consistency
- Reliable batch manufacturing
- Practical kit sizes
- Responsive lead times
